Your position on the drakkar:

Oddin is summoning a Viking or a Valkyria to join the raid as a mathematician, a chieftain-level warrior seasoned by battles and outworn by the rains and winds, who shall stand his ground and join the front lines of our team. He or she shall help us, using the magic powers of Python, on various esports data modeling.

Concerning your duties:

• Studying rules and patterns in various sports, both in the field of esports and traditional sports.
• Designing, implementing, and validating mathematical models for simulating possible game scenarios and outcomes along with their probabilities.
• You will be using methods from probability theory, statistics, random processes, and machine learning.
• You will collaborate and communicate with other departments (Developers, Traders).

The honed abilities and seasoned wisdom thou shalt require:

• Clear prior experience of at least 3-5 years in the same field is essential, i.e. modeling of sports or esports games (with a primary focus on traditional sports such as football/soccer, basketball etc.)
• Knowledge and experience in mathematical modeling, ideally using the theory of random processes and in general probability theory and statistics.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• English - communicative skills for interacting with international colleagues.

Heroic to possess, yet not a crucial prerequisite:

• The experience with the production implementation of mathematical algorithms
• Knowledge of esports
