We work with purely esports titles such as Dota2, LoL, CS:GO, as well as esports analogues of traditional sports like FIFA (soccer), NBA2K (basketball), and more. Based on the data we have available, we create and continuously improve mathematical models that help us predict match odds.
With a team of 150+ people, based in the Czech Republic and many other locations across Europe and Asia, Oddin.gg is growing at a fast pace and is looking for an experienced developer.

Your position among fellow Vikings:

You'll be the architect of our BI data destiny! Build our data pipeline from scratch, transform raw data into insights that guide our decisions, and design clear dashboards everyone can understand. Be our data champion, a master of SQL, data pipelines, and cloud data storage. Help us leverage the power of data!

What would you work on:

• Become our data champion who will advocate for the data, fostering a data-driven culture and empowering everyone to leverage data for decision-making.
• Collaborate with the CTO and engineers to define the technological needs for the data pipeline.
• Choose the right technologies and implement the data pipeline from scratch, including using cloud-based data lakes.
• Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs and design clear, informative dashboards and data visualizations.
• Operate and maintain the data pipeline, ensuring smooth data flow and developing new features and updates as needed.
• Develop and implement close to real-time dashboards for crucial use cases.
  

Skills you will need:

• Proficient in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
• Experience with data pipelines and orchestration tools.
• Experience with cloud-based data warehouses or data lakes.
• Solid understanding of data visualization tools and principles, and best practices for dashboard design.
• Good communication skills.
